LORI TURNER

Lori Turner has 24 years of experience in marketing, business development and strategy. She has held key marketing leadership and strategy roles with financial services, healthcare, manufacturing and education organizations. Most recently, in her role as President and CEO of Turner Effect for 16 years, she and her team served over 250 clients.

Lori has a keen sense for what efforts best impact business growth and has served with multiple executive teams, consulting on growth planning, market analysis and development, and identification of opportunities for operational improvements to drive increased revenue.

In her role as a trusted consultant, she evaluates the positioning of client product lines and recommends messaging and packaging strategy for greater impact and competitive differentiation.

With her unique style, Lori loves to see others succeed. She’s an informal and fun person who, though typically dressed for success, still loves to spend her days in jeans. Whether she’s wearing a blue jacket or blue jeans, Lori always enjoys a challenging conversation – and enjoys finding the humor in all of life’s challenges.

Lori received her B.A. from The College of Mt. St. Joseph and an M.B.A. from the University of Dayton. She has an eye for design and a reverence for the arts, which combined with her adept business skills makes her decisive, creative, well-balanced and approachable.

ELAINE DEAN

A 16 year veteran of large scale project management, Elaine Dean has extensive knowledge of marketing, strategy formulation, and business development. She has managed and executed projects for key corporate initiatives, market assessments, volume projections, new product/service launches, and qualitative/quantitative research.

Lainie has extensive experience applying traditional industry sourcing strategies to healthcare and excels at negotiating on behalf of her clients. She advocates for her projects with a matter-of-fact leadership style that wins confidence from her team and earns respect from her colleagues and clients.

Lainie has a strong operational mind, balanced with strategic thinking. Her understanding of the relationship between marketing, operations and profit is refined and proven effective time and time again throughout her career.

She has a reputation for asking many questions to gain a solid understanding of the client’s situation and perspective. Never assuming she knows more than her clients about their business, she brings strength in her ability to absorb as much information as possible in order to yield a solid strategy for the client. AMY THORSON

Amy has over 19 years of business development and strategy experience ranging from the management of capital expansion projects to strategic planning. She has worked in healthcare systems and in multi-site healthcare and senior services organizations. Amy has successfully owned and operated her own consulting firm, providing clients with feasibility research and analysis, as well as marketing plan development, support, and implementation.

Amy began her career as a staff consultant with Deloitte and Touche and has extensive experience in project management of multifaceted qualitative and quantitative market research, feasibility studies, and multimedia advertising and marketing campaigns. Throughout her career, she has a strong record of leading multidisciplinary teams to reach goals in a timely and cost efficient way.

Amy has successfully managed a wide range of projects including a $30 million dollar senior living real estate development. Her responsibilities included the initial market research and feasibility determination, and floor plan development and pricing structure. She also worked with various governmental and third party agencies to ensure project compliance and quality. With an eye for solutions to broad issues, Amy also has an incredible eye for detail and has worked with multiple legal resources to develop and fine tune residential sales contracts, construction and development contracts, as well as development of a joint-venture structure that would allow the conversion of the real estate project to a more successful structure.

Amy has effectively managed a comprehensive operational assessment of major hospital service line resulting in recommendations for restructuring to add value to the organization. She brings to each client the ability to take a multilayered situation and with changing variables and finding creative and workable solutions.

STEVE BALDWIN

Steve Baldwin has nearly twenty years of advancing business with transforming strategies for branding and communications. His strategic marketing mindset and published, award-winning design supports organizational growth, while his rapid identification of core objectives, potential hurdles and efficient paths to success builds value. Steve demonstrates a keen ability to lead creative teams and engender confidence with internal and external customers and has a unique understanding of both corporate and agency environments.

Currently, Steve leads Baldwin Creative & Co., an innovative design and marketing firm that powers clients with bold creative, graphic design, branding and messaging. Their strategic approach to developing communications helps clients do more, spend less and market smart.

Steve received a Visual Communications Certificate from the School of Advertising Art, a B.A. from Capital University and is currently working on his MBA from the University of Dayton.
